Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2009, Romania's main indicators increased by 10.0% compared to 2008, reaching 30.9%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 20.7%.

Romania ranks 7th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.7% (from 28.4% in 2004).
