Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2021, Greece's main indicators increased by 0.1% compared to 2020, reaching 35.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 37.8%.

Greece ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 58.4% (from 22.7% in 2016).
