Fertility indicators

In 1998, Hungary's fertility indicators decreased by 3.6% compared to 1997, reaching 1.32.

Hungary ranks 16th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 21.4% (from 1.68 in 1993).
