Fertility indicators

In 1999, Hungary's fertility indicators decreased by 3.0% compared to 1998, reaching 1.28.

Hungary ranks 18th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 22.0% (from 1.64 in 1994).
