Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2021, Hungary's main indicators decreased by 46.7% compared to 2020, reaching 6.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 9.1%.

Hungary ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 20.6% (from 7.8% in 2016).
