Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2021, Slovakia's main indicators decreased by 5.4% compared to 2020, reaching 8.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 9.1%.

Slovakia ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 12.7% (from 7.8% in 2016).
