Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2023, Hungary's main indicators decreased by 2.5% compared to 2022, reaching 7.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 11.0%.

Hungary ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.2% (from 7.7% in 2018).
