Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2010, Ireland's main indicators increased by 27.0% compared to 2009, reaching 2.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 5.5%.

Ireland ranks 18th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3221.3% (from 0.1% in 2005).
