Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2018, Latvia's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 28.2% compared to 2017, reaching 12.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.7%.

Latvia ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 47.4% (from 23.2% in 2013).
