Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2019, Latvia's unemployment by sex and age increased by 4.1% compared to 2018, reaching 12.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.7%.

Latvia ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 35.2% (from 19.6% in 2014).
