Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2020, Latvia's unemployment by sex and age increased by 17.3% compared to 2019, reaching 14.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.6%.

Latvia ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 8.6% (from 16.3% in 2015).
