Employment rates by citizenship

In 2024, Lithuania's employment rates by citizenship increased by 0.7% compared to 2023, reaching 74.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 75.3%.

Lithuania ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.0% (from 73.5% in 2019).
