Employment rates by citizenship

In 2025, Lithuania's employment rates by citizenship decreased by 0.7% compared to 2024, reaching 73.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 75.4%.

Lithuania ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.1% (from 72.2% in 2020).
