Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2023, Lithuania's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 8.2% compared to 2022, reaching 7.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 11.0%.

Lithuania ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 66.9% (from 4.3% in 2018).
