Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2024, Lithuania's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 24.2% compared to 2023, reaching 9.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 11.2%.

Lithuania ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 121.9% (from 4.0% in 2019).
