Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2021, Lithuania's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 27.0% compared to 2020, reaching 14.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.7%.

Lithuania ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.4% (from 14.5% in 2016).
