Distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group

In 2025, Luxembourg's distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group increased by 0.9% compared to 2024, reaching 64.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 68.5%.

Luxembourg ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 6.3% (from 68.4% in 2020).
