Distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group

In 2024, Luxembourg's distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group decreased by 6.1% compared to 2023, reaching 63.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 68.4%.

Luxembourg ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 10.4% (from 70.9% in 2019).
