In 2018, Luxembourg's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 81.2% compared to 2017, reaching 3,667.

Luxembourg ranks 21st out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.9% (from 3,399 in 2013).
