Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2009, Malta's main indicators increased by 13.3% compared to 2008, reaching 0.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 13.9%.

Malta ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 116.7% (from 0.1% in 2004).
