At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2025, Netherlands's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 22.6% compared to 2024, reaching 15.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.3%.

Netherlands ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 31.0% (from 11.6% in 2020).
