At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2022, Netherlands's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 2.8% compared to 2021, reaching 14.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.6%.

Netherlands ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.1% (from 13.2% in 2017).
