Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2010, Czechia's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 5.4% compared to 2009, reaching 10.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 14.4%.

Czechia ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 47.8% (from 7.1% in 2005).
