Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2022, Portugal's main indicators increased by 4.4% compared to 2021, reaching 61.0%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 41.2%.

Portugal ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 12.6% (from 54.2% in 2017).
