Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2022, Latvia's main indicators increased by 4.1% compared to 2021, reaching 53.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 41.2%.

Latvia ranks 6th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.5% (from 54.4% in 2017).
