Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2010, Romania's main indicators increased by 5.3% compared to 2009, reaching 1.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 5.5%.

Romania ranks 23rd out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 27.0% (from 1.9% in 2005).
