Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2024, Slovenia's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 2.8% compared to 2023, reaching 43.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 47.5%.

Slovenia ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 32.0% (from 32.6% in 2019).
