At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2025, Spain's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 2.7% compared to 2024, reaching 28.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 19.6%.

Spain ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.6% (from 27.4% in 2020).
