Fertility indicators

In 1990, Spain's fertility indicators decreased by 2.9% compared to 1989, reaching 1.36.

Spain ranks 22nd out of 23 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 17.1% (from 1.64 in 1985).
