Population structure indicators at national level

In 2010, Spain's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.3% compared to 2009, reaching 39.9.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 41.3.

Spain ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.4% (from 38.6 in 2005).
