Population structure indicators at national level

In 2008, Spain's population structure indicators at national level decreased by 0.8% compared to 2007, reaching 25.7.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 28.1.

Spain ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 4.8% (from 27.0 in 2003).
