Population structure indicators at national level

In 2009, Spain's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.2% compared to 2008, reaching 26.0.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 28.4.

Spain ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.3% (from 26.6 in 2004).
