Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2010, Spain's main indicators increased by 6.4% compared to 2009, reaching 13.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 14.4%.

Spain ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 63.2% (from 8.4% in 2005).
