Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2020, Spain's main indicators increased by 18.9% compared to 2019, reaching 21.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 22.0%.

Spain ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 30.8% (from 16.2% in 2015).
