Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2019, Spain's main indicators increased by 9.7% compared to 2018, reaching 7.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 8.8%.

Spain ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 643.2% (from 1.0% in 2014).
