At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2025, Sweden's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 6.2% compared to 2024, reaching 15.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.1%.

Sweden ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 9.9% (from 17.2% in 2020).
