At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2025, Sweden's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 4.0% compared to 2024, reaching 15.7%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.5%.

Sweden ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.7% (from 15.0% in 2020).
