At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2024, Sweden's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.3% compared to 2023, reaching 15.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.5%.

Sweden ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 7.4% (from 16.3% in 2019).
