Population structure indicators at national level

In 2021, Sweden's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.6% compared to 2020, reaching 35.5.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 35.4.

Sweden ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.2% (from 34.4 in 2016).
