Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2016, Sweden's main indicators increased by 23.6% compared to 2015, reaching 26.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 7.2%.

Sweden ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 122.5% (from 11.9% in 2011).
