Fertility indicators

In 1990, Belgium's fertility indicators increased by 2.5% compared to 1989, reaching 1.62.

Belgium ranks 16th out of 23 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.3% (from 1.51 in 1985).
