Fertility indicators

In 1991, Belgium's fertility indicators increased by 2.5% compared to 1990, reaching 1.66.

Belgium ranks 13th out of 23 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.8% (from 1.54 in 1986).
