Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2010, Belgium's main indicators increased by 18.7% compared to 2009, reaching 7.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.3%.

Belgium ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 207.3% (from 2.4% in 2005).
