Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2010, Luxembourg's share of energy from renewable sources decreased by 7.8% compared to 2009, reaching 3.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.3%.

Luxembourg ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 19.1% (from 3.2% in 2005).
