Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2023, Bulgaria's main indicators increased by 21.3% compared to 2022, reaching 23.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 24.6%.

Bulgaria ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 12.5% (from 20.6% in 2018).
