In 2018, Croatia's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 1.8% compared to 2017, reaching 12,190.

Croatia ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 13.2% (from 14,051 in 2013).
