Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2010, Croatia's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 4.6% compared to 2009, reaching 37.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 21.3%.

Croatia ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.6% (from 35.2% in 2005).
