Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2010, Spain's main indicators increased by 6.7% compared to 2009, reaching 29.7%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 21.3%.

Spain ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 55.2% (from 19.2% in 2005).
