Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2010, Sweden's share of energy from renewable sources decreased by 4.3% compared to 2009, reaching 55.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 21.3%.

Sweden ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.6% (from 50.9% in 2005).
