Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2023, Croatia's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 2.3% compared to 2022, reaching 57.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 45.4%.

Croatia ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 19.5% (from 48.1% in 2018).
